I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and a clinical professional counselor intern with over a decade of experience helping people who are struggling with addiction, managing mental health issues or having specific life difficulties like divorce, empty nesting, loss of job or others life transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialty in Substance Abuse from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with men and women, the young and the not so young, and many special populations. I taught at the University of Nevada for 5 years in the addiction studies program. Currently I am a licensed clinical supervisor for interning professionals in the field of substance-use disorders. My counseling style places you as the author of your change.
