Lynda Harper, MS, MFT, LADC I have worked in the mental health and addictions fields since 1994. I hold a masters degree in counseling with an undergraduate degree in psychology. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as, a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor in Nevada. For three years I served as the clinical director of Ridge House working with the criminal justice population. I also worked three years as the program director of the CORE program working with adults with co-occurring disorders.
and adults.
My clinical experience has been focused on issues of sexual abuse, domestic violence, healthy relationships, dual diagnosis and substance abuse. I offer a wide rage of clinical services, which include assessments, evaluations, group individual, couples, and family counseling with adolescents and adults.
I work with my clients from a theoretical orientation of counseling that blends cognitive behavioral, solution focused, humanistic and client centered models. What this means is that I believe in assisting and guiding in the process of your own journey of discovery and solutions, not dictating it.
My personality is very laid back. I have been described as a compassionate, friendly, open, and caring individual. My motto is “live, love, laugh just not at the expense of anyone else”.
